Fiscal Health in Franklin Field (Spring 2009)

Beginning in June 2008, SEH members worked with community partners in Codman Square (Dorchester, MA) to implement a pilot for a transdisciplinary service-learning program. The aims of this project are (1) to foster transdisciplinary approaches to alleviating root causes of social inequities and (2) to enhance synergistic relationships between Boston communities and Boston University.

Boston Collaborative for Food and Fitness: Mobile Produce Project (Summer 2008)

SEH  consulted for the Boston Collaborative for Food and Fitness (BCFF) to assess the feasibility of improving the nutritional environment of five Boston neighborhoods using a mobile produce market model. We studied similar existing models from around the country, analyzed supply and distribution chains, and produced an operational finance model for the BCFF to use as they work to implement the project.
